My Myst Island map on DeviantART is the artwork in my feed that has the single most favorites. It has about twice as many favorites as the runner up, which is the Riven Jungle Island map. Temple Island map, on the other hand, is on a measly fifth place.
So, other than for pure trivia, what does this mean? That I should get my act together and pick up this project again? Well, for sure, but the problem has always been that my level of engagement in this project has its ups and downs, and currently, it's down.
Basically, it's an enormously time-consuming process to draw these maps and you get to a point where you just need a break from it. Plus, other projects always get in the way.
But fret not, I will continue on the project and bring more maps to the feed.
